The film received strong response from the audience, with revenues exceeding Rs 600 crore at the box office.

Recently, the makers announced that the shooting of the film has almost completed.

A tragic accident in the movie “Jailer 2” during the filming of ECR

Even after the main schedule wrapped up, the team continued shooting some pending scenes at Adityaram Film City on Chennai’s East Coast Road (ECR). A number of technicians and workers participated in the filming. While working, a tragic accident reportedly occurred on the set.

According to Nakhiran, Karthikeyan, an electrician from Salem working in the film unit, was electrocuted while discharging his duties.

When the employees learned what happened, they rushed to help him and tried to take him to the hospital. However, he eventually died from the injuries he sustained during the accident.

Rajinikanth and his team were left heartbroken

Police investigations are ongoing

It is reported that after the unfortunate incident occurred, Kanathur police station filed a case and started an investigation. They are currently investigating the location where the accident occurred to ensure that all necessary safety steps are taken. An error was found regarding electricity arrangements.
