ETimes reviewed the film and noted, “Although the first half of Bhooth Bangla is quite entertaining and keeps one addicted, a sharper narrative and shorter runtime would make this comedic horror-comedy much more effective. However, it still offers enough laughs for a good one-time viewing.”Meanwhile, Priyadarshan’s last outing in Mollywood was the film Corona Papers starring Shane Nigam which received good reviews.
