Akshay Kumar’s Bhooth Bangla is currently in its third week in theatres. The film has already crossed the Rs 200 crore mark worldwide at the box office and is slowly moving towards a new milestone.
While the new releases took a toll on the horror comedy’s box office result, it still managed to add a significant amount to the overall collection on its third Sunday, indicating that it continues to attract audiences despite the competition.
‘Bhooth Bangla’ box office collection today 17th
The Priyadarshan directorial has collected Rs 84.40 crore and Rs 43.75 crore in its first two weeks, respectively, in cinemas. According to a Sacnilk report, on the 17th day, the film collected a net collection of Rs 5.50 crore across 4,249 shows, which represents a growth of 26.4% over the 16th day (Rs 4.35 crore).

Global collection of “Bhooth Bangla”
Akshay Kumar’s Bhooth Bangla has grossed Rs 100 crore globally in just four days of its release.
The film has ended the ‘Dhurandhar 2’ fever in theatres.Now, on day 17, the film has collected Rs 1.25 crore in overseas markets, taking the total overseas collection to Rs 56.25 crore. With this, the total worldwide collection now stands at Rs 225.52 crore.
Box office competition
The collaboration project between Priyadarshan and Akshay Kumar is facing competition from new releases like ‘Raja Shivaji’, ‘Ek Din’ and ‘The Devil Wears Prada 2’.
The film also clashed with the Michael Jackson biopic “Michael”.
