Anne Hathaway has spoken about her third pregnancy, revealing that she had almost no expectations about getting pregnant at the age of 43. During a red carpet interview at the New York premiere of “The Odyssey,” the acclaimed actress opened up about the journey that led up to her pregnancy announcement last month.According to Access Hollywood, Hathaway expressed her gratitude mixed with frank realism about her situation. “There’s always hope until there’s no hope, but when you get to a certain age, that hope seems like 1 to 2 percent. So we decided to just see where life takes us, with very realistic, healthy expectations, which were very low,” she said.

The sweet ad generated immediate well wishes from fellow artists.Legendary actress Barbara Streisand offered her congratulations, sharing a photo of herself with Hathaway from 2016 when the actress was pregnant with her first son.

“To Anne and Adam, congratulations on your pregnancy! Mazel tov, Barbara xo,” Streisand captioned the photo as the two recorded together.
