I will do it again. I have no regrets. I loved the man. No matter how long or short we spent time – I was happy with him.”She added that happiness for her is never about material things. “It’s not about the money, it’s about the person you wake up with. You can have it all, but if you don’t have the person you want by your side, it’s not happiness.”
“I still feel like he’s with me”
Despite the passage of time, Anita revealed that she still holds on to the memories of the star. “I have audio recordings. I still listen to them, especially on Karva Chauth. I still feel that he is with me,” she said, adding that she used to watch his Karva Chauth every year. The couple will also celebrate the special moments in their own way. “We didn’t do anything big, but we used to have little candlelight dinners at home,” she said.
“He was moody, but great.”
Opening up about his personality, Anita described Khanna as intense and affectionate. “He can be moody. If he was in a good mood, everything was fine. If not, even small things turned into arguments,” she admitted, adding that their relationship witnessed frequent disagreements.“We would fight once or twice a week, over food or clothes or anything,” she said. “Usually, his mood would change in the evening… after drinks.”She also spoke about his routine, revealing: “He would start drinking around 5:30pm until around 8:30 or 9. But it wasn’t just drinking, we would talk and watch TV.”

His likes, dislikes and quirks
Anita painted a vivid picture of Khanna’s personal preferences, from his love of orange to his strong opinions on style.“He loved the color orange. He even wanted to paint the bungalow a bright shade of orange,” she recalled. He was also particularly interested in how they were worn. “He liked me to wear churidar and skirts, not jeans. Even my hair – he wanted to tie it up. If I came with open hair, he would tell me: ‘Tie your hair first, then talk to me,'” she said. The actor also enjoyed simple outings. “We would go for ice cream almost every other day. He just liked chocolate, nothing else,” she said.
