Ranveer Singh’s sudden exit from ‘Don 3’ seems to have set off a chain of events that shows no sign of slowing down. The rift between him and Farhan Akhtar has expanded, spilling over into legal territory and drawing FWICE into the middle of it all. Now, the saga has taken another unexpected turn. FWICE senior advisor Ashoke Pandit revealed that the conflict had raised enough concern within the industry that several big names, including Aamir Khan, quietly intervened behind the scenes to make peace between the two.

Speaking to Indian Rush, Ashoke Pandit said, “Many people in the industry, including Aamir Khan, were trying to solve the problem before it got to us. That didn’t work either. Ashoke also spoke about the money lost due to such decisions and said, “They would have sold their house.
You may have ten good reasons not to make a movie. But if money is spent because you are committed to the project, those losses should be made up.” Farhan said he lost Rs 45 crore after Ranveer walked out without 3. Ashoke stressed that it doesn’t matter how big a star someone is, no one should be allowed to suddenly back out of a project they have already agreed to do.

There were also reports that Salman Khan had personally intervened and tried to resolve the dispute between Farhan and Ranveer, prompted by his close relationship with the Akhtar family.

How Ranveer Singh and Farhan Akhtar’s ‘Don 3’ feud turned into a legal battle
The “Don 3” fallout between Ranveer and Farhan has escalated into one of the biggest controversies that Bollywood has witnessed in recent times. Multiple reports online suggest that Ranveer pulled out of the film due to creative differences with the makers, and several accounts also cited his frustration with repeated production delays and lack of a final script.
What many assumed was a simple casting change has since turned into an all-out legal battle.
Farhan Akhtar’s company Excel Entertainment has demanded compensation of Rs 45 crore, while the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) issued a non-cooperation directive against Ranveer, though this directive has since been rescinded.
