Hollywood action director JJ Perry has praised Rocking Star Yash and director Geetu Mohandas for their work in Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grownups. The veteran director described the experience as an honor and shared exciting behind-the-scenes moments from the sets.

JJ Perry recently took to social media to express his appreciation and share glimpses from the sets while reflecting on his experience.The Day Shift director’s caption read: “What an honor it was to work with the entire crew on #Toxic. I have to send a huge thank you to @thenameisyash, an incredibly talented actress with the best beard in the industry! A kind and generous person who I am proud to call a friend and of course the amazing director @geetu_mohandas I had so much fun working with her and her team. See Yash at CinemaCon 2026At CinemaCon 2026 in Las Vegas, Yash made a strong impression while talking about the film’s vision.

He described “Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grownups” as a “very ambitious project” and stressed his vision to take Indian stories to a global audience.“The event is massive and you should experience it,” said Yash. He added: “With the volume and density, there has to be something unique in each sequence. There has to be variation – different styles, different shapes that adapt in the work.” The star emphasized realism by noting that “the work has to be visceral, and you have to feel the pain.”Directed by Jeetu Mohandas, Toxic features an ensemble cast including Yash, Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, Rukmini Vasanth, and Tara Sutaria. “Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grownups” is scheduled to hit theaters worldwide on June 4, 2026.
