The MG M9 has received a significant price hike in India. After the latest update from JSW MG Motor India, the luxury electric MPV is now priced at Rs. 75.90 lakh ex-showroom. The revision comes as part of the brand’s April 2026 pricing update, and as a result, the model is now significantly more expensive than its previous sticker price of Rs 69.90 lakh, ex-showroom.

The M9 falls into the premium MPV segment, continuing to compete with models such as the Kia Carnival and Toyota Vellfire. Carnival, currently priced at Rs. 59.42 lakh, ex-showroom, offers the diesel powertrain, while the Vellfire sits much higher at Rs. 1.19 crore with a powerful hybrid setup. In comparison, the M9 features an all-electric powertrain.In terms of design, the M9 is over 5.2 meters long and features a typical multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) silhouette.
It is available in three color options: glossy pearl white, metallic black and concrete grey. Exterior highlights include LED headlights, LED taillights, a closed grille and 19-inch alloy wheels with chrome detailing.

The MPV is powered by a 90 kWh NMC lithium battery coupled to a front-mounted electric motor that produces 245 PS of power and 350 Nm of torque. The company claims a driving range of up to 548 km on a full charge.
The setup is front-wheel drive, and buyers get an 11-kilowatt wall charger with the installation, as well as a 3.3-kilowatt portable charger.Inside, the M9 offers dual “presidential” seats with 16-way adjustment, along with massage, heating and ventilation functions and extendable armrests. A digital armrest controls seat and entertainment settings, while dual rear screens, ambient lighting and a panoramic sunroof add to the experience.
