Skoda Kushaq facelift is coming to India soon. The company has shared teasers showing new lights and design changes. The SUV will also get updated features to keep it strong in the midsize SUV market.
New Front Design
The facelifted Skoda Kushaq shows a sharper front. It has a new grille with chrome, updated bumpers, and LED lights. A connected LED light bar links the headlights. At the back, illuminated ‘SKODA’ lettering and a rear LED bar make it look modern.
Wheels and Stance
Test cars show 17-inch matte black alloy wheels. The SUV keeps its shape but looks sharper and more premium.
Inside the Cabin
The interior will get upgrades too. Higher trims may get a panoramic sunroof. A bigger touchscreen and digital cluster will improve usability. Physical buttons for AC and traction control return. Leather and fabric seats are upgraded.
Safety Upgrades
The facelift adds a 360-degree camera and Level 2 ADAS. Existing safety features like 6 airbags, ABS, and traction control remain. The SUV already has a 5-star Global NCAP rating.
Engine and Power
The 1.5-litre TSI petrol engine will continue. It may now come only with a DSG automatic. Rear disc brakes could improve handling. The SUV may drop the manual six-speed option for this engine.
Features and Tech
The Kushaq facelift may include LED headlights, sequential rear turn signals, a larger 10.25-inch instrument display, and rear-seat massage in top trims.
Price and Rivals
Prices may start around ₹11 lakh, rising slightly from current rates. The SUV competes with Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Tata Sierra, Toyota Hyryder, Honda Elevate, VW Taigun, MG Astor, and the upcoming Renault Duster/Nissan Tekton.
The Skoda Kushaq facelift is expected on January 20. Fans can look forward to design, tech, and safety upgrades that keep it competitive in India’s midsize SUV segment.
