‘Greenland 2: Migration’ OTT Release: Gerard Butler to Morena Baccarin, Know All About the Cast and Characters

“Greenland 2: Migration” was released in theaters on January 9, 2026, and is now available for streaming on OTT. It’s a follow-up to the 2020 hit Survival that had audiences on the edge of their seats. Directed by Ric Roman Waugh, the film takes place five years after Clark’s Comet destroyed Earth, and follows the Garrity family as they leave the safety of their hideout and embark on a dangerous journey through the ruins of Europe in search of a new home. Butler plays this role with the muscular body that has made him one of the most reliable action figures in Hollywood.

Morena Baccarin returns as Allison Garrity, now a powerful survivor and a key decision-maker within the bunker’s ruling council, an important development from the mother fleeing danger in the first film. Known for “Deadpool,” “Firefly,” “Homeland,” and “Gotham,” she brings a quiet confidence to the role that gives Allison a compelling new dimension in the sequel. Baccarin remains one of the most versatile actors in film and television.

Roman Griffin Davis takes over the role of Nathan Garrity, replacing Roger Dale Floyd, bringing a five-year-old version of the boy whose diabetes was instrumental to the tension in the original film. He is best known for his famous break in the movie “Jojo Rabbit” alongside Scarlett Johansson and Sam Rockwell, and has since appeared in the movie “The Long Walk.” Griffin Davis brings the same quiet strength to Nathan that made his previous work so amazing.

Tommy Earl Jenkins plays General Sharp: a military figure whose presence adds institutional tension to the survival story and suggests a world in which power is contested as much as resources. Known for his work on “Wednesday,” “Death in Paradise,” and “This Is Us,” Jenkins brings an authority to the role that makes General Sharp one of the most interesting new additions to the story. His character pushes the film beyond mere survival into something more politically charged.

The supporting cast includes Trond Fossa as Adam Shaw, Jenna Jangar as Elizabeth Price, Antonio de Lima as Charles Williams, Peter Policarpo as Dr. Haugen, and Berus Khan as Mr. Singh, among many others.
