Acclaimed actress Li Jun Li, famous for her role in the movie “Sinners”, joins the cast of the hit series “The Last of Us”. She will play Miriam, the mother of Lev and Yara, in the next season. This marks an important career move for Li, who also stars in the upcoming “Spider-Noir” series.

Lee Jun Lee, the actress best known for her iconic role in Ryan Coogler’s “Sinners,” is headed to one of the biggest shows. She has been one of the most talked-about new faces in Hollywood since her breakout performance in Ryan Coogler’s record-breaking vampire drama “Sinners.”

The actress received widespread praise for her role as Grace Chow in the film, and it seems that interest has quickly translated into big opportunities. “The Last of Us”, one of the most popular TV series, is now her next destination. It became one of the most exciting casting announcements the show has ever seen.According to Variety, she will play in the series the role of Maryam, the Seraphite and the mother of Lev and Yara.

As previously announced, Michelle Maw will play Yara, and Kieriana Krater will play Liv, the siblings whose paths cross with Abby’s at a pivotal moment as Ellie begins her vengeful rampage in Seattle.

The last of us season 3‘: Who else is joining the cast?

Li Jun Li joins a growing ensemble that includes Jason Ritter and Patrick Wilson, along with Ariela Barer, Tati Gabrielle, and Spencer Lord, who have been promoted to series regulars after recurring in season two. They join previously announced additions Clea DuVall and Jorge Lendeborg Jr.

The latter takes over the role of Manny. Returning cast members include Kaitlyn Dever, Bella Ramsay, Isabella Merced, Gabrielle Luna, and Jeffrey Wright.

What’s next for Lee Jun Lee?

Lee is next scheduled to appear in Spider-Noir, starring Oscar-winning actor Nicolas Cage. The live-action Marvel series is set to make its world premiere on May 27. Her previous television credits include “Based on a True Story” and “Evil.”

Based on the hit video game series, the series takes place in a post-apocalyptic world ravaged by a fungal infection that turns much of humanity into violent, infected creatures. The series was co-created by Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann.Druckmann announced his departure before the third season, leaving Mazin as the sole showrunner. Mazin will also write and executive produce. Filming of the series is expected to begin this summer.
