Ice Spice is going viral online after a violent altercation with a fan. The rapper was reportedly slapped by a fan while eating at a McDonald’s outlet in Hollywood. Security camera footage of the incident went viral on the Internet.According to a video obtained by TMZ, the confrontation occurred early Wednesday morning. Security footage shows the rapper sitting in a booth with his girlfriend when a young woman approaches her and starts talking. However, the conversation turns ugly when the woman slaps Ice Spice. The footage shows the woman being taken away from the rapper and escorted out of the restaurant. Once outside, additional footage showed Ice Spice smashing the phone of someone in the group and also yelling obscenities at the woman.
Ice Spice’s lawyer, Bradford Cohen, confirmed that the matter had been reported to the Los Angeles Police Department. “The LAPD has been informed of the unprovoked attack on my client and will pursue every avenue to hold the perpetrators accountable for their actions, including criminal and civil liability. We are also exploring holding the site accountable for their lack of proper security,” he said in a statement to TMZ.
“He added in a statement published by Variety: “Not to mention, the individuals involved clearly did not realize that we would be getting the video from inside the McDonald’s restaurant where the unprovoked attack occurred. They then turned on their cameras after the initial attack as if they wanted to set up our client and, as they say in the video, ‘go viral.’ The only thing that would go viral for them would be their personal photos.”The woman in the video later shared her version of events. In the clip shared by TMZ, she claims: “After she called me, I hit her. I hit her, so I was escorted out of McDonald’s. After they picked me up, I was by my car and I heard Ice Spice in the middle of the streets screaming ‘Where the fuck I want to fight her…'” She kept talking. This is just the summary of the story, honestly.Ice Spice has since addressed the incident on social media, tweeting: “This will not happen at a Wendy’s.”
