A recent live chat featuring popular creator Connor “CDawgVA” Colquhoun sparked a new discussion about YouTube star Jimmy “MrBeast” Donaldson. During the broadcast with Chris Broad and Robert “Robcdee”, CDawgVA claimed that MrBeast doesn’t like being discussed by other famous creators and may reach out to them when that happens.The comments gained attention after a clip of the stream was shared on the r/LivestreamFail subreddit on June 7, 2026. In the video, Chris Broad suggested that MrBeast would sometimes call out creators who spoke out about him. This led CDawgVA to share a personal story about an interaction he says he had with the YouTube star. As of now, MrBeast has not publicly responded to these allegations, and the comments remain one-sided accounts from the co-creators.
CDawgVA shares alleged interaction with MrBeast as Chris Broad’s previous criticisms resurface
While discussing the topic, CDawgVA claimed that MrBeast becomes uncomfortable when respected content creators discuss him online.According to CDawgVA, “There’s this compulsion he feels when other YouTubers talk about him. He doesn’t like it. He hates when other reputable YouTubers talk about him.”The broadcaster then described what he said happened after he discussed MrBeast publicly. According to his account, MrBeast contacted him and asked to speak with him.
CDawgVA explained, “He’ll text you and say, ‘Why are you talking…?’ So, we were talking…and so he messaged me. It’s like, “Hey, can we chat?” And I say: “Sure!”He went on to say that a call was arranged but never happened because he missed the first attempt. Later, when another conversation was discussed, CDawgVA said he noticed that MrBeast was attending the NBA Finals at the time.“I made sure he was literally in the NBA Finals,” he said, recalling that moment. “I was like, ‘Bro, you can’t call.’” What are you talking about?” I was also like, “Also, why is this so important?”The discussion also brought renewed attention to comments made by Chris Broad in 2024.
At the time, Broad criticized MrBeast for partnering with Logan Paul on the Lunchly food product.In a post shared on X in October 2024, Broad said he was disappointed with the collaboration due to past disagreements with Logan Paul. He specifically referenced the widely criticized Aokigahara Forest video from 2017 and questioned why MrBeast chose to work with him.At this time, there is no public response from MrBeast regarding CDawgVA’s recent statements.
