A horrific accident early Sunday morning in London has people worried after a car ran over pedestrians outside a nightclub. The incident happened at around 4:30am on Argyle Street near Inca London.

Among those infected is social media influencer Claudia Zakrzewska, known online as ClaudiaGlam. Video clips from the scene of the accident quickly spread on the Internet, showing the moment the car collided with a group standing outside the club.Shortly after, police confirmed that a 29-year-old woman, Gabrielle Carrington, had been arrested. She is being held on suspicion of attempted murder, causing grievous bodily harm, dangerous driving and drink driving. According to Daily MailCarrington is a former finalist on The X Factor, having performed as part of the Miss Dynamix group in 2013.

Gabrielle Carrington was arrested after Claudia Zakrzewska and others were hit by a car outside a Soho nightclub.

From what has emerged so far, the situation may have started with a fight outside the nightclub. Reports indicate that Carrington and Zakrzewska were involved in a heated exchange before the incident. A short while later, a black car drove toward the crowd.Video footage is difficult to watch. The photo shows Claudia Zakrzewska falling to the ground and trapped under the car as people nearby rushed to help her. Two others were also injured.

A man in his 50s, who was opening his electric bike at the time, suffered serious injuries that police described as life-changing. A woman in her 30s suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene.Emergency services arrived quickly after receiving calls about the incident. The injured were transferred to receive medical care, while the forces secured the area and began their investigations. The police clearly stated that the incident was not being treated as terrorism-related.Chief Inspector Alison Foxwell from Specialist Crime South shared an update. She said: “As our investigations continue, our thoughts are with those injured and their loved ones. While this incident occurred in the early hours of the morning, venues in the area were still open, and we believe a number of people may have witnessed what happened.”She also added: “I would urge anyone who witnessed the collision, or any activity prior to it that they feel may be relevant, to come forward. The information you have, no matter how small you think it may be, may be of critical importance to investigators.”Carrington remains in police custody while the investigation continues. Meanwhile, the incident has raised serious concerns about safety outside central London’s busy nightlife venues.
