Before the alleged murder-suicide, Justin’s political career was tainted by sexual assault allegations. In 2019, Justin – who was a Democrat – was accused of rape by two women.

The police are investigating an apparent murder-suicide involving Justin and his wife, Serena. Based on the crime scene, Fairfax County Sheriff Davis said they responded to a 911 call to the couple’s home in Annandale, Virginia, shortly after midnight on April 16 and discovered a man and a woman dead.
Davis noted that it appears the same firearm was used in both shootings.
“Maybe half of America will go through divorce at some point, and very rarely, fortunately, does it end that way,” Davis said. “So, I’m very sad for this community… a lot of people who know the Fairfax family – everyone is shocked. We are shocked.”
