Ty is a registered nurse
Although Tay has a large following on Instagram, this is not her only career! She also studied nursing at College of the Canyons in Santa Clarita, graduating in December 2019. Tai proudly posed with her friend Marissa Civali While the two were wearing their ceremonial gowns. “Okay, last post from graduation (maybe hehe),” she began. “I want to give a special thank you to my sweet little friend @mar_sus! I’ve been so lucky to not only have you as my friend, but also to have been able to go through the roller coaster of nursing school with you. I can always count on you to understand how I’m feeling, and it’s been so nice to have a built-in study partner. I can’t wait to see the nurse you’ll become!!” Ty wrote at the time.
She also paid tribute to her fellow healthcare professionals during Nurses Week in May 2021. All smiles as she wore a pair of navy blue overalls, she also shared the reality of the job, wearing personal protective equipment in other photos due to coronavirus. “It’s officially Nurses Week!!… Shout out to all the men and women who have dedicated their careers to helping others, and I’m so honored to work alongside you! If you know a nurse show them a little extra love this week,” she wrote at the time. “To my fellow nurses, I know you don’t hear it enough, so, thank you! Thank you for everything you do, your drive to keep going, and your heart of gold. You are so appreciated by me and so many others,” she also said.
Ty is an influencer and podcast co-host
Tay has a habit of sharing her fashion and lifestyle content with her followers on Instagram. In May, she gave her followers a look at her high-low style by pairing a coral Coach Tabby bag with a white ribbed turtleneck sweater from Forever 21, and straight-leg jeans from Madewell. She finished off her look with a pair of Sam Edelman socks. “Details,” she simply captioned the photo.
After she and Taylor launched their podcast called “The Squeeze,” Tay’s following steadily increased.
Ty loves dogs
Tai calls herself a “dog mama” in her social media bio — and created an entire second account dedicated to her dogs Remy and Lily. “Just two sisters competing for the world,” their IG bio reads.
Ty is a California native
Tay was born in Los Angeles, California, on March 17, 1997. She has resided in the SoCal area her entire life, and appears to have grown up in the Malibu area. “This is a place. A place where I hold some of my earliest memories, and some of my favorite memories. From the ocean being my parents’ backyard, to dating the man of my dreams. This place has given me some of the most amazing memories I will remember for the rest of my life,” she wrote in 2018 during the Malibu wildfires.
She loves to travel
Tai’s social media accounts are filled with travel-related posts. She took a photo on a plane on the cover of her passport in 2018, and it read, “To travel is to live” — apparently words she lives by. “Oh, the places we’ll go,” she wrote. Other locations I have published from include Palm Springs, San Diego, London, and New Orleans, to name a few. She also documents trips to Chicago and Napa Valley on her YouTube account.
