After President Donald Trump came under fire for posting an AI-generated video showing Obama as a monkey/monkey with his ally Tim Scott, the White House issued a clarification. The administration said the racist video of Barack and Michelle Obama was released by a staff member and has been removed.

What did Trump post about Obama?Trump shared a video about election conspiracy theories that included a racist image of the Obamas, depicting them as primates in a jungle. We can’t see the post on his Truth social profile right now.
The 62-second clip was from a video alleging deliberate tampering with voting machines in battleground states in 2020.
Tim Scott video condemnationSen. Tim Scott, the Senate’s only black Republican, responded to the video. “Praying it was fake because it’s the most racist thing I’ve seen out of the White House. The president should take it down,” he told X, the platform formerly known as Twitter.
Scott has been a key ally of Trump and also endorsed the president in 2024.
