The latest clash between Candace Owens and Blake Neff quickly caught attention on social media after the conservative commentator challenged Nev to prove a major allegation involving Charlie Kirk and his wife, Erika Kirk. The exchange began after Owens reacted to an article published by The Bulwark that discussed public reactions to the idea of her potentially running for president in the future.
Owens shared the article on X and claimed that President Donald Trump’s attempt to publicly shame her “had the opposite effect desired.” The article included comments from people who said they would consider supporting Owens if she entered a presidential race.The post later caught the attention of political commentator Blake Neff, who responded by writing: “You should run. I think the whole country would benefit from knowing more about who you really are.”Instead of addressing the comment directly, Owens turned the conversation toward an old controversy involving Charlie Kirk and the leadership at Turning Point USA. This isn’t the first time Candace Owens has publicly questioned Blake Nev about the same topic. Back in April, Nev posted on X that there was “no doubt” about who would eventually succeed Charlie Kirk at TPUSA. Owens responded immediately and asked him to provide evidence that Charlie had publicly appointed Erika Kirk as his replacement.Then the dispute turned personal and heated.In one response, Blake Neff wrote: “Candace, we didn’t bother playing it because we know that psychopathic predators like you don’t care what’s right or wrong and the normal logic of evidence has no effect on you.”Nev also claimed that he no longer believed “any good faith conversation” with Owens was possible. He later likened it to “a lunatic waving a knife and screaming at people on the subway.”Owens responded shortly after and mocked Nev’s comments. “Please just say April Fools, bro. This is so stupid it hurts, but you have a few hours to pretend it was a joke,” she wrote.Social media users were divided back and forth. Some users defended Owens and questioned why Nev didn’t release the alleged video if it existed.
