Marjorie Taylor Greene’s explosive revelation during break with Trump | “The said release will hurt people.”
“On Easter morning, this is what President Trump posted. Every person in his administration who claims to be a Christian should kneel down and ask God for forgiveness and stop worshiping the President and interfering with Trump’s madness.
I know you all and I know him and he has gone crazy and you are all complicit,” MTG wrote in her 276-word post. “I’m not defending Iran, but let’s be honest about all of this,” she wrote. “The Strait is closed because the US and Israel started the unprovoked war against Iran based on the same nuclear lies they have been telling for decades, that Iran will develop a nuclear weapon at any moment. You know who has nuclear weapons? Israel. They are more than capable of defending themselves without the US having to fight their wars, kill innocents and children, and pay the price for it.”
“Trump’s threat to bomb power plants and bridges hurts the Iranian people, the same people Trump claimed to be liberating. On Easter, of all days, we as Christians must remember that the Son of God died and rose from the grave so that our sins can be forgiven once and for all. Jesus commanded us to love one another and forgive one another, even our enemies.”The post added: “Our president is not a Christian and Christians should not support his words and actions. Christians in the administration should seek peace. Urge the president to make peace. Not escalate a war that hurts people. This is not what the American people promised us when they voted overwhelmingly in 2024. I know I’ve been there longer than most. This doesn’t make America great again. This is evil.”
An American pilot was rescued from Iranian soil late Saturday after an F-15 was shot down days earlier, and Trump made the announcement shortly after midnight Sunday. The crew members had been missing since Friday.
