Saudi education authorities have confirmed that students who miss their first semester exams during the month of Ramadan will not be given another opportunity unless they provide an official excuse. This rule comes as public schools across the Kingdom begin the first semester exams for the second semester, with strict application of attendance and discipline procedures.The Ministry of Education explained that absences will not be overlooked during the examination period. The non-compensation policy is based on the student evaluation regulations approved at the beginning of the current academic year.

Exams begin with a strict attendance requirement

Today, Monday, the first semester exams for the second semester began in Saudi public schools.School administrations confirmed that full attendance is mandatory throughout the examination period.

Students who fail to attend will not be given make-up exams unless their absence is supported by an official excuse.By holding exams during the month of Ramadan, the authorities aim to address the problem of absenteeism, which was observed repeatedly in several regions and governorates during the holy month.

Weekly learning plans and disciplinary reports should be shared regularly, and any academic or behavioral challenges should be closely monitored.Rapid educational intervention has been mandated to address problems without delay, ensuring a stable and safe learning environment throughout the examination period.
