'Risking life for distraction': Wife of deployed US military service member criticizes Iranian strikes

The wife of a US military member currently serving in the Middle East said the Trump administration’s strikes on Iran seemed like a dangerous distraction. The wife, Kendall Brown, appeared on “TMZ Live” and said that more US service members are speaking out than ever before, and many echoed the same idea that this has less to do with protecting Americans and more to do with staying out of issues in the United States.

Brown said living with uncertainty was tough and every ring of the doorbell sparked fear that it could be devastating news.

“He’s not happy either. And I will say, more than any other decision that any commander in chief has made in his entirety, while in the military, more service members are very upset about this than we’ve ever seen before,” she said.He added: “But it is very clear to many service members and many military families that this has nothing to do with protecting Americans. This has to do with distracting from this administration’s poor performance at home. What we do not agree to, and what my husband does not agree to, is risking their lives to serve this distraction.”
