TMZ reports that the amount claimed is in the millions, and the note claims to send the cryptocurrency to a specific Bitcoin address. The outlet has verified that the address is genuine.
There is also a time limit attached to the alleged ransom, as well as an element of “or else”. The note described an item the sender said was damaged at Nancy’s Tucson-area home.
However, Nanos does not guarantee the accuracy of the information or the validity of the notes. He explained that investigators have analyzed the note and are taking it seriously. The FBI reviewed the note and decided to share it with Savannah, he added.
“It’s like any piece of evidence. You give us it, you give us a lead, we’ll look at every aspect of that lead,” Nanos said.

Meanwhile, Nanos declined to say how many people may be involved in the possible abduction. “It could be one, it could be more, I don’t know,” he said.
Addressing Nancy’s abductor or abductors directly, Nanos said “the clock is literally ticking,” as she needs life-saving daily medication. “You put him in great danger by not giving him the drugs that are important to him. Again, like I said, if he doesn’t get these drugs, it could be fatal,” he added.
