Martin Noack was named in documents related to Jeffrey Epstein released by the Justice Department on Friday. Many of his contacts with late convicted child sex offenders have come to light. Their disturbing nature has sparked panic online.

Martin Novak is a Harvard professor whose name appears in documents linked to Jeffrey Epstein. (Harvard University)In an email conversation between Nowak and Epstein, the former said “our spy was caught after completing his mission.” To this, Epstein replies “Did you torture him?”

It should be noted that the context of the conversation is not known and there are no charges against Nowak.

Other conversations attempt to shed more light on the relationship between Nowak and Epstein. “Hello Martin! Jeffrey requested that I know the name of the university in Romania that you “got from people”… ..can you please let me know!,” read a communication from Leslie Groff.

He says he wants to spend an hour with you first—would that work for you? I know you said you’d start something at PED at 4 p.m.” Another person mentioned here is Noam Chomsky, whose name has appeared in the Epstein documents before.

Snapshots of these conversations were widely shared online and evoked mixed reactions In another message, Nowak simply wrote “time travel.”

Who is Martin Novak?Nowak is a professor of mathematics and biology at Harvard University. According to the university’s website, he works on ‘the mathematical description of evolutionary processes, including cooperation and the evolution of human language, as well as the dynamics of virus transmission and human cancer.’

He was born in 1965 in Vienna. Nowak attended the Albertus Magnus School and then studied biochemistry and mathematics at the University of Vienna. In 1989, he went to Oxford as an Erwin Schrödinger Scholar. In 1997, he became Professor of Mathematical Biology there. Nowak joined Harvard in 2003.

Grok shed some light on the ‘time travel’ conversation between Novak and Epstein, saying “it appears to be a brief 2017 email from Harvard professor Martin Novak to Jeffrey Epstein, with only one attachment mentioning “time travel”. Based on pre-2011 emails in the Epstein files, it likely refers to time travel or an explanation of time travel. Part of the impact-scientific discussion is that Epstein has no evidence of actual time travel.”
