Candace Owens publicly challenged Turning Point USA producer Blake Neff this week as the fight over late TPUSA founder Charlie Kirk and the battle to lead the organization continues to grow online.
The controversy on X occurred after Blake Neff shared screenshots criticizing Candace Owens for repeatedly posting videos and live streams targeting TPUSA and Charlie Kirk’s widow, Erika Kirk.
In his post, Blake Neff pointed out several thumbnails from Owens’ recent “Candace” episodes, including videos discussing Erika Kirk and Jeffrey Epstein’s theories, donor accusations, and allegations about infidelity within conservative circles.
He also included an old screenshot in which Owens called Daily Wire co-founder Jeremy Boring a “literally deranged stalker” after she was fired from the company.Shortly after, Owens responded directly to Nev. She questioned why TPUSA had not released a reported video where Charlie Kirk allegedly appointed Erica Kirk as future CEO and Chairman if something happened to him. “Really great to have you here Blake,” Owens wrote, “Any chance to comment on why he didn’t post a video of Charlie declaring he wanted Erica to become CEO and Chairman of the Board if he died? Donors claim this never happened.”
It seems very easy to explain.”
Candace Owens and Blake Neff clash over Charlie Kirk’s succession video and TPUSA leadership claims
The exchange quickly turned more personal after Blake Neff retweeted a previous response he had made to Owens in April. In that letter, Neff strongly rejected her claims and accused her of ignoring evidence linked to the leadership of TPUSA and Erica Kirk.“Candace, we didn’t bother playing it because we know that psychopathic predators like you don’t care what’s right or wrong and the normal logic of evidence has no effect on you,” Nev wrote.
We gave up the possibility of having any good faith conversation with you months ago. It’s like trying to reason with a madman brandishing a knife. The public battle is part of a much larger rift within conservative media circles following Charlie Kirk’s death in late 2025. Since then, Owens has repeatedly questioned how leadership within TPUSA has changed and whether donors are fully aware of succession plans related to Erica Kirk.Meanwhile, Blake Neff and other TPUSA supporters defended Erika Kirk and accused Owens of using conspiracy-driven content to attack the organization in order to gain views and attention. TPUSA supporters also argue that publishing private internal materials will only lead to more online harassment and chaos.Owens’ supporters continue to demand proof that Charlie Kirk formally approved Erika Kirk as his successor before his death. On the other hand, TPUSA supporters believe that Owens is fueling unnecessary drama while turning a private tragedy into public content. The argument has now become one of the biggest disagreements between conservative movements online, with both sides continuing to trade accusations, screenshots and public statements across X platforms and livestreams.
