A group of fan-favorite children’s characters come together to form a new clothing line that celebrates fashion, friendship, and fandom.
The Powerpuff Girls x Sanrio collection features clothing, accessories and homeware inspired by the colorful superhero trio, as well as Hello Kitty and her friends. Officially licensed collaboration from Warner Bros. Global Consumer Products and Sanrio, and the new collection ties in with the nostalgia trend that has led to re-releases and new product drops alike, of intellectual properties like Disney Princesses and… Hannah Montanato the last The devil wears Prada sequel.
The Powerpuff Girls and Hello Kitty collaboration is available to shop online now at JCPenney.com, with pieces for girls, juniors and women. Here’s a look at some of our favorite pieces from the collection.
Oversized graphic T-shirt
This cotton blend T-shirt features a modern oversized fit with embroidered characters on the front and “Hello Kitty and Friends” and “Powerpuff Girls” logos embroidered on the sleeve. Choose from sizes XS to XXL.
Short sleeve soccer jersey
Just in time for the World Cup, fans of soccer (and the classic series) can pick up this soccer jersey, which features a Cinnamoroll and Bubbles graphic on the front, with blue and white stripes inspired by the sport. This V-neck top comes with matching shorts which you can find here.
Wool bomber jacket
This zip-up bomber jacket is made of comfortable fleece material and features all of the characters scattered along the sleeves. There’s an embroidered bow on the front, while the back of the jacket features the phrase “Super Cute” in embroidered silver stitching, along with collaborative logos.
Fitted tube top
This strapless top features illustrations of Hello Kitty and the Girls on a racing-inspired checkered background. The upper is made of cotton jersey material with a touch of stretch. Wear with shorts, jeans, dresses or with a matching skirt from the collection (as shown in the model above).
Short sleeve baseball jersey
You can also pick up this bright green and black baseball jersey, which features the faces of Buttercup and Kurome on the front and a “Buttercup Love Kurome” graphic on the back. This is a classic V-neck shirt, with a button front closure and a custom fit. Like all of the items above, the Sanrio x Powerpuff Girls piece is available in sizes XS to XXL although sizes sell out quickly.
Small backpack
And you can get the official Hello Kitty x The Powerpuff Girls backpack in light pink. The beloved characters are prominently featured throughout the bag, which measures approximately 8 x 10.5 inches.
There’s a front zippered pocket to store things like your phone, wallet, and accessories, and a larger main compartment that zips shut to protect your tablet, books, and more. Note: The pink pompoms and front charms are included as part of this release.

The new collection comes on the heels of Hello Kitty’s 50th anniversary celebrations in 2024. Powerpuff Girlsmeanwhile ran for six seasons on the Cartoon Network, quickly becoming one of the network’s most popular shows. Nostalgia and demand for female crime fighters led to an anime revival in 2016, with plans for a live-action reboot eventually being shelved. You can currently watch all six seasons of the original animated series on Prime Video.
