Resuming airspace in the Middle East with limited capacity
Flights to and from the Middle East are witnessing a gradual recovery as tensions continue between the United States, Israel and Iran.
Due to limited operations, reduced capacity and suspension of routes, passengers have had to face flight cancellations and rebookings since the war began on 28 February 2026. Major carriers have resumed operations in order to ensure passenger travel as well as continue the supply chain to the region for essentials such as fresh produce.
Airlines have advised travelers to check the status of their flights frequently, even before departing for the airport due to the rapid developments taking place in the region. Furthermore, travelers should check official information channels such as the airline website for latest updates and travel information.
