Rapper Cardi B has threatened to take legal action against Alex Brusewitz, an adviser to US President Donald Trump, after he claimed she had ties to a company linked to allegations about a bot campaign involving fellow artist and rival Nicki Minaj.The dispute began with a now-deleted post by Bruesewitz onCardi B denied any connection in an angry response to The rapper also slammed the theory that her music label Roc Nation was part of the controversy, calling it “absolutely ridiculous.”She continued: “The conspiracy theories with Roc Nation have become so ridiculous.. Bruesewitz pushed back even after Cardi B deleted her post. He said she “immediately deleted her threat after presenting facts that her rep was in fact involved with the company that produced the @NICKIMINAJ ‘bot’ hoax! You didn’t have to delete it, Cardi.”

Despite the legal threat, Cardi B maintained that she had nothing to do with Cyabra’s data or the bot report. Minaj attended Bruesewitz’s wedding in South Florida earlier this month.In response to Cardi B’s ICE statements, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) posted on social media: “As long as she does not drug and rob our clients, we will consider this an improvement over her previous behavior.”Cardi B has previously spoken candidly about her pre-fame past, admitting that she once drugged and robbed men while working as a stripper. “Whether or not they were bad choices at the time, I did what I had to do to survive,” she said at the time.
