It has been revealed that Kristi Noem’s husband, Byron Noem, is a cross-dresser who pays fetish models online to talk dirty.
As if Kristi Noem’s removal from the position of Secretary of Homeland Security was not enough, she is now facing a huge scandal involving her husband, Byron Noem. Until a few weeks ago, Byron was the cuckolded husband, as Kristi Noem’s alleged affair with Corey Lewandowski was an open secret in management.
But now the Daily Mail has published an investigative report backed by photos and messages exposing Byron Noem as a secret crossdresser who pays models online. Even more disturbing is that the report claimed that Byron bragged about his wife in those online chats. The report also published a photo of Byron wearing fake breasts and pink pants. The Daily Mail reviewed hundreds of letters in which Byron confessed his lust for “huge, huge, ridiculous breasts.” Byron did not deny having explicit conversations with models or cross-dressing, but said he did not make inappropriate comments about Kristi Noem. “Yes, I didn’t make comments like that, that would lead to that,” Bryon replied. Kristi Noem’s spokesperson told the Daily Mail that she was devastated by the revelations. “The family is devastated by this. They ask for privacy and prayers at this time.”
Who is Byron Noem, insurance tycoon?
Byron Noem is an entrepreneur, insurance magnate, father of three, and Kristi Noem’s high school sweetheart.
Kristi and Brion Noem met in high school, married in 1992, and have daughters Cassidy, 31, and Kennedy, 29, and a son, Booker, 23. Byron stood by his wife when she faced questioning about her tenure at the Department of Homeland Security and also about her alleged affair.
Daily Mail investigation into the secret life of Byron Noem
Ben Ashford and Josh Boswell led the investigation, checking whether the images they received were fake or generated by artificial intelligence. But they claimed that experts had ruled out this possibility.
The photos’ metadata indicates they were taken in early 2025 on an iPhone set to Central Time, which matches Byron’s location in South Dakota. In his secret pursuits, Byron often used the alias “Jason Jackson.” Jason Jackson’s PayPal account sent the woman regular deposits, usually between $500 and $1,000. The Daily Mail tracked down the particular woman and confirmed that “Jason Jackson” told her that he has a wife and family. He also said that he loved his wife. One woman told the Daily Mail that she once called Jason and sent her a voicemail message saying: “Noem Insurance Company, leave a message.”
