Ventilated seats, once limited to luxury cars, are now available in more affordable models as automakers expand comfort features across lower price segments. Rising temperatures and increased time spent in traffic have contributed to this shift, making these features more suitable for everyday use.
These additions are now available across multiple body styles, including hatchbacks and compact SUVs, without a significant increase in cost. For buyers who deal with the heat and long commutes, ventilated seats provide added comfort. In this article, let’s take a look at the cars under INR 12 lakh in India that come equipped with ventilated seats.
Renault Keyger

The first SUV on the list is the Renault Kiger, which gets ventilated seats in high-quality trim at a starting price of Rs 8.4 lakh (ex-showroom).
Highlights include 16-inch alloy wheels with red brake callipers, LED foglights, automatic headlights, 8.0-inch infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, 7.0-inch configurable digital instrument cluster, 6-speaker Arkamys sound system, drive modes, cruise control, wireless charger, rear defogger, cooled glove box, ambient interior lighting, and remote engine start (variable Turbo), and ventilated front. The second SUV on the list is the Kia Sonet, which gets HTX ventilated seats, at a starting price of Rs 11.65 lakh (ex-showroom). Highlights include LED DRLs, fog lights and tail lights, an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, front parking sensors, automatic climate control, a power sunroof and more.
The car gets three engine options – a 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine, a 1.2-litre NA petrol engine, and a 1.5-litre turbocharged diesel engine.

Skoda Killac

Next is the Skoda Kylaq which gets ventilated seats in high-end trim at a price of Rs 11.75 lakh (ex-showroom). Other features include 17-inch alloy wheels, power sunroof, power front seats, 10-inch touchscreen, automatic air conditioning, cruise control and more. The Kylaq is based on a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder, single-turbocharged petrol engine with 115 hp and 178 Nm of torque.
Hyundai place

Next up is the Hyundai Venue which gets ventilated seats from the HX8 at a starting price of Rs 11.9 lakh (ex-showroom). Highlights include a 4-way power driver seat, electronic parking brake with auto hold, automatic headlights, automatic climate control, wireless charging pad, connected car technology, over-the-air (OTA) vehicle updates, power sunroof, 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen, wireless Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and more.
The car gets three engine options – a 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine, a 1.2-litre NA petrol engine, and a 1.5-litre turbocharged diesel engine.
Kia Cirrus

Next is the Kia Cirrus which gets not only front ventilation but also rear ventilation. Ventilated front seats are available on the HTX variant starting at Rs 12 lakh (ex-showroom). However, rear ventilation is only offered on the top-spec HTX Plus (O) variant. You get two engine options – a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder turbo petrol engine that produces 120bhp and 172Nm of torque.
It comes paired with a 6-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed DCT.
The other engine is a 4-cylinder, 1.5-liter turbo diesel, with a power of 115 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque.
Tata Nixon

Next on the list is the Tata Nexon priced at just over Rs 12 lakh (ex-showroom). Ventilated seats are available on the Fearless Plus PS model. Engine options include a 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine and a 1.5-litre turbocharged diesel engine. This model is also offered with a CNG option, making it the least expensive model in its class to feature ventilated seats.
