The film is directed by Puri Jagannadh and features Vijay Sethupathi and Samyuktha in the lead roles. On stage, Vijay Sethupathi spoke about his long journey in cinema and shared personal memories that touched many audience members. “I worked as a junior artist in M. Kumaran’s film Son of Mahalakshmi, with a salary of just Rs 400. The original was directed by Puri sir. I even told him about it,” he said. The actor then added, “From earning Rs 400 as a junior artist to now acting as a hero in his own film, I feel really proud and grateful.
