“Playing a clean character is unnatural for me.”

Using his previous tale Kaun Banega Crorepati as context, Samay showed how his comedic identity is rooted in irreverent humour. “Playing a clean character is unnatural to me,” he implied, stressing that toning down his character seemed inauthentic. He linked this to the backlash around India’s Got Lant, particularly involving Ranveer Allahbadia, also known as BeerBiceps. “Ek kleen banda kabhi kabhi haraami nahi ban sakta internet pe,” he said.“Veg non-veg kha sakta hai, non-veg khayega ulti hi karega,” he added metaphorically, explaining why audiences often reject sudden character shifts.
