The unauthorized wiretapping case between “Real Housewives of Miami” star Lisa Hochstein and her ex-husband Leonard “Lenny” Hochstein has taken a surprising turn amid the stalled lawsuit proceedings.
The reality show personality has been charged with criminal interception of wire, verbal, or electronic communications with her ex-boyfriend, Judy Glidden. However, the duo will soon be separated by mid-June without any admission of guilt or conviction.
Legal proceedings between the Hochstein family and Judy Glidden
The two defense attorneys involved, Jane Weintraub and Howard Srebnick, maintained that Lisa Hochstein and Judy Glidden will be innocent of all charges without any admission of guilt or conviction, according to USA Today.
The duo were arrested on one felony charge each in April, after placing a recording device in a car during Hochstein’s divorce proceedings in 2023. While he was released after posting $5,000 bail and later entering a not guilty plea, Lisa surrendered to officials on April 15, followed by her release on $5,000 bail and a not guilty plea.
About the case brought on Non-consensual registration
In March 2023, the warrant was served after Lisa borrowed a new, expensive car from Lenny, claiming she wanted to buy the same thing for herself, People reported.
However, after returning his car, Lenny found a suspicious device in the driver’s seat floorboard, later identified as a recording device. “It was covered with tape, and after learning the nature of the device, the victim suspected it had been used to secure it under the seat and out of sight,” the warrant said. One of the last recordings found on the device was of a discussion between Hochstein and Glidden, and there was a distinct sound as the hidden recorder struggled around.
Furthermore, the device later captured photos of the former couple talking about children, plastic surgery, finances and a construction project. Lenny stated to authorities that he confronted Lisa about the device, and he did not consent to the recording.Disclaimer: This report is a journalistic report of the court’s recent development.
