Actress and director Olivia Wilde has spoken about her changed opinion of Elon Musk, saying she now “really resents” the billionaire and never imagined he would become the person he is today.Speaking on The Louis Theroux Podcast, the Don’t Worry Darling director spoke about his meeting with Musk years ago during a visit to SpaceX headquarters in Los Angeles.

“I’m really, really upset about it.”

Wilde revealed that she visited SpaceX when the company recently established its headquarters. At the time, Musk expressed interest in supporting a charity she was involved with in Haiti, which focused on building hospitals and schools.“I’m really upset with him right now. I’m really, really upset with him,” Wilde said.Recalling the meeting, she added: “I met him many years ago. I think SpaceX had just built its headquarters in Los Angeles.”

“I had to go on a tour because I wanted to see the rocket ships.”She said Musk expressed interest in donating to the organization.“He was interested in donating money to an organization I was part of in Haiti that was building hospitals and schools. I think he donated a little money, and that’s appreciated.”

“He seemed really smart.”

Wilde admitted that although she found Musk intelligent during their interactions, she never expected his public persona to develop the way it did.

“I was confused. I never expected he would go the way he did.
