In a hilarious exchange, Meghan Markle responded to a hilarious jibe from her former “Suits” castmate Patrick J. Adams, who humorously mentioned the absence of jam from her new lifestyle brand.
Meghan Markle is sending some “jam” and some love to her “Suits” co-star Patrick J. Adams. In a new podcast, Adams made a joke about not receiving jam from Meghan’s lifestyle brand. In her response, the Duchess of Sussex made a rare comment on social media, especially for Adams.
Patrick J. Adams wants some jam from Meghan Markle
On April 2, the Duchess of Sussex commented under an Instagram video she shared, “Not Skinny But Not Fat.” The clip was an excerpt of host Amanda Hirsch’s conversation with Meghan’s “Suits” sweetheart, where Adams shared that, unlike Hirsch, he hasn’t been sent any jams like he always has.
Nannies are in the path of Patrick J. Adams and his wife
After Adam’s hilarious joke, Meghan Markle continued with her own style. When Hirsch posted the portion of the clip on her Instagram account, Megan jumped into the comments section and wrote: “Jams are on the way @patrickjadams & @sleepinthegardn.” She, along with her former co-star, tagged his wife Troian Bellisario. “Hug these beautiful babies. Sending my love to your mama,” Meghan continued, shouting out to the couple’s three daughters, Aurora, 7, Elliot, 4, and Imogen, 2 months, and Adams’ mother.
Where did the jam theme come from?
The topic of jam came up when Hirsch asked the Madison star if Meghan, 44, had given him a handwritten letter, because she received one containing the Duchess of Sussex’s signature handwriting (which Adams described as “impeccable handwriting”) as well as the jam she sent her in March 2025. “Did I get jam? I didn’t get jam,” Adams shared while discussing the topic. “How was the jam? Be real…we should taste the jam.”
“We should open it,” he joked, and Hirsch agreed that she “should have brought it” to their interview. Meghan Markle and Patrick J. Adams played colleagues and love interests on “Suits” during the drama’s original run on the USA Today Network during its first seven seasons, which aired from 2011 to 2018.
