Mel B has revealed there is a potential Spice Girls documentary, but insists it must be “honest” and done “in the right way”, in reference to past controversies. She also firmly stated that a reunion tour “isn’t going to happen” anytime soon, a sentiment echoed by Mel C, although both remain optimistic about the group’s future activities.

The Spice Girls were once one of the most prolific and innovative girl groups, and to this day, they are respected as pioneers of pop music. Although it has been a long time since their breakup, fans always look forward to the moments when they can see them all together.

Recently, Mel B spoke about a potential Spice Girls documentary and spoke about the one thing that is allegedly keeping the project from seeing the light of day.

The iconic singer recently spoke about her legacy with the Spice Girls with HELLO! During her interview, she was asked about the possibility of producing a documentary about the group, and she replied that there was a chance, but “it has to be done in the right way.”She also added a bit of context regarding another factor that had to be in place for the documentary to be made. “It has to be honest — and not everyone wants to be honest,” she said.

Mel B explains whether the Spice Girls will reunite anytime soon

The last time all members of the group, which also includes Melanie “Mel C” Chisholm, Geri Halliwell-Horner, Emma Bunton and Victoria Beckham, took to the stage was in 2019. Mel B was quick to shut down any rumors of another reunion show taking place.

Pointing out that there was no way, she added: “I can tell you that’s not happening.” “If that happened, it would be a shock to me, let’s put it that way. Mel C also confirms that there will be no Spice Girls reunion

She quickly shut it down, saying, “No, there is no reunion.” However, she confirmed that the group is in touch after all these years, and that they would all like to do “something.” She added: “Who knows when, but I still feel very optimistic, and I hope you see the Spice Girls together at some point in the future.”The Spice Girls will celebrate their official 30th anniversary since their debut.
