Eric Fleming, a licensed addiction counselor, was reportedly sentenced to two years in federal prison for his role in supplying the ketamine that caused the actor’s death.

Eric Fleming pleaded guilty to serious charges

According to Wio News, Eric Fleming served as an intermediary who delivered ketamine to Perry during the final days of the actor’s life. In 2024, he pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute and distribute ketamine resulting in death.During his sentencing hearing in Los Angeles, Eric Fleming expressed remorse before Judge Sherilyn Pace Garnett.

The federal investigation cast a wider net

All five people charged in the case pleaded guilty. Jasvin Sangha, described as the main supplier, was sentenced to 15 years in prison in April 2026. Kenneth Iwamasa admitted administering more than 20 ketamine injections in the last four days of Perry’s life. Dr. Mark Chavez was sentenced to eight months of home confinement and three years of supervised release.Dr. Salvador Plasencia was sentenced to 30 months in prison in December 2025.

Friends paid emotional tributes

Following Matthew Perry’s death, co-stars Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, and David Schwimmer shared their heartfelt tributes on social media.“I imagine you out there, somewhere, in the same white suit, with your hands in your pockets, looking around,” Schwimmer wrote. “Could there be more clouds?”Jennifer Aniston revealed that she revisited old text messages from Perry. “I found a text message he sent me one day out of nowhere,” she added.
