Jeff Daniels is headed to Morning show.
the newsroom The star who appears in the third season of ShrinkApple TV announced Monday that she will be joining the cast of the series in its fifth season. Despite his return to the series about a news show, Daniels is set to play a non-journalist character in “Lukas”, the billionaire founder of an investment firm.
The two-time Emmy Award winner joins the all-star cast: Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Aniston, Billy Crudup, Mark Duplass and Jon Hamm. In its fifth season, the series picks up drama from the previous season, which saw Witherspoon’s character Bradley detained in Belarus, and a group of characters uncovering a UBN executive involved in a cover-up.
Showrunner Charlotte Stoudt previously said that season five will explore the relationship between Bradley’s character and Crudup’s character Currie. “For Bradley and Corey, are they twin flames? Morning show It is a show produced and executive produced by Stoudt and directed and executive produced by Mimi Leder. Michael Ellenberg and Lindsay Springer are executive producers for Media Res Studio. Witherspoon executive produces the show with Lauren Neustadter for Hello Sunshine and Aniston and Kristen Hahn executive producing for Echo Films. Xander Lehman and Mika Sharafat are also executive producers.
