Saudi Arabia has officially moved to the reservation phase for domestic pilgrims, with authorities setting strict payment timelines and updated cancellation rules as preparations intensify.Today, Wednesday, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah announced the start of the Hajj package reservation phase for domestic pilgrims who are Saudi citizens and residents with valid residency permits.Those who registered their data during the first phase can now choose and book packages through the Nsuk app or website. Payments are processed via SADAD system. Earlier, on February 23 (Ramadan 6), the Ministry began the data registration phase for domestic pilgrims.
The Ministry explained that applicants can review the available packages, select the most appropriate option, issue a reservation invoice, and then complete payment through the “Sadad” system. This step comes as part of what officials described as a comprehensive digital process aimed at organizing seats and ensuring fair access to opportunities. The Ministry confirmed that all procedures are carried out electronically through the Nusuk application or the official website: https://www.nusuk.sa/.
Payment deadlines have been tightened
According to the ministry, pilgrims must complete the payment process within 72 hours of booking. This date will remain in effect until Dhul-Qi’dah 27, corresponding to May 14.Starting May 15, the payment period will be reduced to six hours to ensure booking opportunities for the largest possible number of beneficiaries. Bookings will be automatically canceled if payment is not received within the specified time frame.The Ministry urged those wishing to perform Hajj within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to quickly reserve their packages and complete payment on the specified dates. She also stressed the importance of carefully reviewing the package details and conditions before confirming contracts.
Cancellation and refund rules
The Ministry said that requests to cancel reservations will be processed in accordance with the approved cancellation policy.Cancellations are allowed without any discounts before the Hajj permit is issued and until Shawwal 30 (April 18). After issuing the permit, discounts will be applied according to the date of submission of the cancellation request.No refunds will be given for cancellations made from Dhu al-Hijjah 1 (May 18) until the platform is closed.
