After a four-year hiatus, Blake Lively returned to the Met Gala carpet on Monday — with a reason to celebrate.
The star – wearing archive Versace – last attended fashion’s biggest night in 2022, when she was among the evening’s co-chairs. This year, she walked the carpet just hours after it was announced that Justin Baldoni’s lawsuit was settled for sexual harassment on set. And it ends with usAfter years of legal controversy.

The statement added: “We acknowledge that the process has presented challenges and recognize the concerns raised by Ms. Lively deserve to be heard. We remain firmly committed to workplaces free of malfeasance and unproductive environments. We sincerely hope that this will bring closure and allow all participants to move forward constructively and peacefully, including in a respectful online environment.” The deal means Lively and Baldoni avoid prosecution in a case that has captivated Hollywood and sparked a web of lawsuits over the shooting and the public relations machinations behind the shooting. Lively stopped by to chat with Vogue magazine On the carpet, she didn’t mention the big news, but she did reveal that her suitcase contained artwork from her four children, whom she shares with Ryan Reynolds. The 2026 Met Gala will be chaired by Beyoncé, Nicole Kidman, Venus Williams and Anna Wintour under the theme “The Art of Fashion,” with Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez Bezos as honorary chairs.
