Safari Plaza Restaurant in Abu Dhabi
Authorities in Abu Dhabi ordered the closure of the Safari Plaza restaurant after inspectors discovered repeated food safety violations deemed a threat to public health.The Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (ADAFSA) said that the restaurant, located on Al Muroor Street and operating under commercial license No. CN-1010084, was administratively closed for violating food safety regulations under Law No. 1010084 regarding food safety.
Law No. (2) of 2008 regulating food establishments in the emirateAccording to the authority, the food control report revealed that the facility repeatedly failed to comply with food safety requirements, and did not adequately address previously identified violations despite being given opportunities to do so.The authority said that taking immediate measures is necessary to protect consumers and ensure that the food provided to the public meets the required health and safety standards.The closure will remain in effect until the restaurant corrects all violations, meets food safety requirements and receives approval to resume operations.The authority said that this step comes as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance food safety control throughout Abu Dhabi.
