Taylor Swift fans received their copies of her single from “Toy Story 5” with a little surprise in the packaging. Several fans revealed, according to various social media posts, that they received what appeared to be lyrics written on scrap paper along with their version of “I Knew It, I Knew You.”
While many wondered if this was an Easter egg, singer Aaron Lewis was quick to give them all a surprising clarification.

When fans and netizens alike shared on platforms likeHe later shared that the confetti, which many fans thought was from the “Opalite” singer, is actually part of his upcoming album, “Give Me Back My Country,” scheduled for a worldwide release on July 17.
The singer took to his X account, where he posted a video of a fan opening the box of his CD and revealing mysterious images and words in the packaging materials.He shared the video with the caption, “Oh, look, this is my new, unreleased album, ripped up like wrapping paper in Taylor Swift merch. Isn’t that ridiculous.” Parts of his lyric book and other printed materials intended for his album were stuck in with the packaging materials.

Aaron Lewis talks about the incident
While speaking with USA Today, Aaron talked about how surprising the incident was, as his album has not yet been released. He said he first learned of the incident after he came across fans of the singer opening videos and trying to decipher his lyrics and wondering if they were from Swift.He added: “I don’t see any of this kind of thing, and when I got this, I said to myself: What’s going on? This is completely strange.” This is the cover of my new record that has not been released yet. It’s not like the old stuff was there and they decided to make packaging out of it. It’s my new record. “I don’t understand how something like this could happen.”He also clarified that he does not blame Swift or her team for the issue, as he himself does not know exactly what happened. At the time of writing, no statements have been made by the “Blank Space” singer.
