Rajinikanth stops shooting of ‘Dharman’ to pay last respects to K. Bhagyaraj; He describes the late director as a wonderful human being

The Tamil film industry is mourning the sudden demise of legendary director K Bhagyaraj, as actors, directors and political leaders gathered to pay their last respects. Among them was superstar Rajinikanth, who canceled the ongoing shoot of his upcoming film ‘Dharman’ to bid farewell to one of his close friends in the industry. Rajinikanth visited Bhagyaraj’s house, garlanded the body and condoled with the family members.

The actor was seen crying, remembering the director with whom he had a decades-long friendship, after paying his respects and addressing the media.

He was an extraordinary talent. I still can’t believe he is no longer around,” he said. The actor was reportedly shooting for ‘Dharman’, directed by Ashwath Marimuthu and produced by Kamal Haasan’s Raj Kamal Films International.

However, soon after hearing the news of Bhagyaraj’s death, the day’s schedule was cancelled, allowing Rajinikanth to fly directly to the late director’s house.

His visit reflected the respect and affection he always shared with Bhagyaraj, and pictures of the tributes have since gone viral on social media.
