With the high-profile wedding celebrations of Arjun Tendulkar and entrepreneur Sanya Chandhok taking to the next level, a new picture has emerged from Jamnagar. The photo, shared by a fan page on February 19, depicts Nita Ambani, founder and chairman of Reliance Foundation, in a relaxing moment alongside cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar and his wife Anjali Tendulkar. The trio was photographed against the green backdrop of Vantara, a sprawling animal shelter and rehabilitation center located within Ambanis’ Reliance Jamnagar refinery complex.
Nita Ambani’s simple look
Nita Ambani ditched her signature embellished outfits and designer sarees, and opted for a chic monochromatic co-ordinated ensemble in rose pink. The outfit featured delicate floral embroideries on the sleeves and hem, embodying a “quiet luxury” aesthetic that perfectly suited the outdoor setting of the wildlife sanctuary.

The Tendulkars, who arrived in Jamnagar on February 15, 2026, also displayed practical and fashionable clothes. Sachin Tendulkar wore a vibrant, multi-coloured plaid shirt with dark trousers and blue aviators. Anjali Tendulkar looked ready for the outdoors in a tan safari-style jacket, white pants and a black Vantara logo cap.
What’s next for the wedding?
The Tendulkars were recently in Jamnagar for a pre-wedding celebration for Arjun Tendulkar, who is set to marry Sanya Chandhok – the granddaughter of businessman Ravi Ghai – in March 2026.
The relationship between the Ambani family and Tendulkar spanned decades, from Sachin’s tenure with Mumbai Indians to their deep family friendship. The Jamnagar phase of the wedding celebrations highlighted this partnership, with the Ambanis hosting the Tendulkars at their family home.
Sachin, Anjali and Sara Tendulkar were photographed arriving at Jamnagar airport on February 15. Sachin was seen wearing a casual blue t-shirt, while Anjali wore a pink t-shirt and Sara chose a black t-shirt with a gray shawl.
The Tendulkar family has been busy extending personal invitations to India’s top leadership, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Draupadi Murmu. After the intimate Jamnagar celebrations, the main wedding is expected to be a private event under tight security in south Mumbai.
