Several users reported issues accessing WhatsApp Web on Friday morning, with complaints largely centered around difficulties logging in and syncing chats. According to Downdetector, a website that tracks outages, outage reports rose around 9:00 a.m.

The outage tracking website recorded at least 16 user reports of service outages at around 8:54 am in India on Friday, indicating a significant spike in complaints linked to the service.
Many users have taken to X to report issues connecting WhatsApp Web to their devices. One user wrote: “Is WhatsApp down for everyone?!!! It’s been an hour of logging in on iPhone and linked devices.”
The unrest did not subside immediately, as complaints continued to emerge after the initial spike. Data from Downdetector showed that even 30 minutes after the first reports, at least 28 users reported issues in India, suggesting that the reported issues with the app’s web have been continuing for some time.
There was no immediate response from Meta Platforms or WhatsApp regarding the reported disruption. The company has not issued any statement or update on its official channels at the time of writing this report.
