Climbing workshop for women

This one is only for women. Start your day strong with this climbing workshop. Under the guidance of expert coaches, the session focuses on teaching balance, technique, strength and body awareness. One will learn how to navigate a climbing wall using physical strength and overcoming any mental or emotional obstacles. This powerful treatment is what all women need.

Crafts Bazaar
Sign up for a creative weekend at the Craft Council at Telangana Craft Bazaar. This celebration of all things handmade focuses on vulnerable crafts like Sohrai painting, Tassar Karavati and Kharad weaving, split braiding, panja and crafts that urgently require patrons and promotion. Master artisans will also conduct workshops on these textiles and handicrafts throughout the three days. Here’s one event where your attendance will matter most.

Sukoon Evening (concert)
This evening of slow music with singer and musician Utkarsh Sharma is an intimate musical house featuring an orchestrated mix of Jagjit Singh’s ghazals, Kishore Kumar’s emotional songs and Gulzar’s poetry. Accompanied by sarangi, tabla and harmonium.

Sutradhar, Head Presents Dushala (Theater)
Dushala, from the epic Mahabharata is the only daughter of Dhritarashtra and Gandhari. This performance on International Women’s Day speaks of her pain and anguish to be recognized among a hundred brothers. Dushala talks about her mother’s neglect, her brothers’ betrayal, and her attempt to stop the bloody war between the Pandavas and Kauravas. On Woman’s Day, go listen to the other story of a character who is largely unseen and unheard.
