Police arrested three juveniles on Saturday for allegedly stabbing a 26-year-old man to death in northeast Delhi’s Dayalpur area. $A police officer said that there were 400 disputes, and a video of the incident was recorded and posted on social media.

The police said that the deceased was identified as Muhammad Kaif, a resident of New Mustafaabad, who was survived by his parents and two brothers.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (North East), Ashish Mishra, said that the incident came to light when the police received a call from Gaj Pravesh Chandra Hospital on Friday around 4 pm, where the victim was declared dead.

The officer said the three juveniles stabbed the victim near a shop on 25 Futa Road. On the same day, a video surfaced on social media, in which the three accused juveniles were seen attacking the victim and stabbing him several times, the officer said, adding that the video had a caption inspired by a recently released movie. HT was unable to independently verify the authenticity of the video.

A murder case was registered on Friday and the accused juveniles, aged around 16 years, who also live in New Mustafaabad, were arrested.

“When they were investigated, the juveniles admitted their involvement, and admitted that the victim had borrowed $“400 of them and they did not return the money,” the DCP said. The officer added that the three knives used in the crime have been found and an investigation is underway.
