India raised export duties on gasoline and reduced duties on diesel and jet fuel on Friday, the Finance Ministry said in a statement. This notification from the government comes within one day of raising retail fuel prices for the first time since the outbreak of war between the United States, Israel and Iran in February.

Citing the government notification, news agency PTI reported that customs duty on petrol exports has been raised to $3 per liter, which is the first since the start of the Iran war.

At the same time, customs duties on diesel exports were reduced $16.5 per litre $23 per liter, aviation turbine fuel to $16 per litre $33 per litre.
