A horrific incident took place in Telangana’s Nizamabad district, where a woman allegedly killed her husband by injecting toilet cleaner through a medical cannula while he was undergoing treatment.
News agency PTI reported that the deceased was 35-year-old Prasanth, and he was working in a Gulf country.

Complaint
The case was revealed after the mother of the deceased filed a complaint with the police stating that she learned of her son’s death on Tuesday, June 30.
She revealed in her complaint that she was not aware of her son’s visit to the house or of the events that preceded his death. She expressed doubts about her daughter-in-law, Sandhya, and said her son’s death was mysterious.
Infidelity, alcohol and payment
During investigation, police found that Sandhya (32) was involved in an extramarital affair with Anil (35), a resident of Indrapuri Colony in Nizamabad. Believing that Prasanth was an obstacle to their relationship, Sandhya and Anil allegedly conspired to eliminate him.
According to news agency ANI, the duo enlisted the help of 25-year-old Venkat Sai, a resident of Nyalkal village, to implement their plan.

According to the police statement, as part of the conspiracy, Sai went to Prasanth’s house on June 29 and made him consume a lot of liquor. On Sandhya’s telephone instructions, Sai took Prasanth to the balcony of the building and pushed him away.
Toilet cleaner is used as a finishing blow
Prasanth survived the fall but was seriously injured. Sandhya and Sai initially took him to a government hospital for treatment, later transferred him to a private facility, and finally sent him home.
After Anil encouraged her, the wife injected Prasanth with toilet bowl cleaner and anesthetic medicine through a cannula. She also pushed him from his bed, ultimately causing his death.
The accused confesses to committing the crime
According to the police, the three defendants confessed to their involvement in the crime during the investigation. They were brought before the investigating judge and referred to judicial custody.
