Kriti Sanon recently got candid about how she had her eggs frozen as she prepared to shoot her surrogacy film Mimi. She revealed that since the procedure causes a lot of bloating, and she had two months before filming to gain weight, she “cleverly” took the time to freeze it off.In her conversation with Humans of Bombay, the actresses also spoke about it and shared, “I spoke to someone who told me that this is the best thing you can do for yourself if you can. It’s the best gift you can give yourself. It has stayed in my mind. Then, when I was asked to gain weight, I thought this is the right time to do it.”She also shared that the procedure causes a lot of “hormonal disruption” and that she was going through a lot of emotions at the time of the procedure.

Regarding how she arrived at the decision, the actress said she thought a lot about it, revealing that she never wanted to be “bound” by the idea of ”I need to get married now, or I need to have kids now, and I’m doing it because I have a schedule.”She also shared her views on marriage and children, revealing that it is something that no one should enter into unless they feel ready to take the step.
“Whether it’s marriage, whether it’s kids, you have to do it when you feel it in you, and you feel like you’re ready for it. You know, it shouldn’t come about because of some hour or pressure,” she stated.
