Nationalist Congress Party MP Sharadchandra Pawar Supriya Sule on Monday urged Indian External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar and the Indian Embassy in Saudi Arabia to provide urgent assistance to 41 Indian nationals from Pokhardhan, Maharashtra, who are currently stranded in Riyadh after an Acasa flight to Mumbai was suddenly cancelled.

“41 Indian nationals from Pukardhan, Maharashtra, are currently stranded in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, after an Acasa flight from Riyadh to Mumbai was suddenly cancelled,” Sule said in a post on X.

In a quick response, the Indian Embassy in Riyadh confirmed that it was actively looking into the matter and coordinating with the airline.
The embassy said in its response: “We are checking with Acasa Air, ma’am. We will provide all the support required.”
Supriya Sule also shared the names of the affected passengers in a post shared on social media.
In its latest update, Acasa Airlines said it continues to operate flights between Jeddah and several Indian cities, including Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Kochi and Kozhikode.
